Fiber Notion® is owned and operated by Kat Ridel and Fiber Notion® LLC. Kat, a textile designer living and working in New York City, established Fiber Notion® in 2005 to serve as a vehicle for rescuing and recycling the enormous amount of textiles ending up in landfills.

Our fabrics and notions are from some of the top textile and print fashion houses of Europe, Asia and the United States. These are the fabrics and textiles reviewed and selected by designers from around the world who create seasonal lines and new products for the apparel and home textile markets.

Fiber Notion's goal is to provide quilters, crafters and other fiber artists access to the latest fabrics and notions available. Since most of our items are available in limited runs... and changes just like the world of fashion... you can be sure any project you create will remain fresh! We are thrilled to be sharing these fabulous fashion fabrics and findings with as many crafters as possible. Whether you are an experienced quilter or a novice in the world of fiber arts and crafts, we guarantee our fabrics and notions will surprise and delight!

In future look for our craft kits! They are developed exclusively for Fiber Notion® by Kat Ridel and her designer friends. Like our other product lines, they are adapted from current fashion trends and available in limited runs and minimum quantities.
