Coming January 2010 Fiber Notion®  introduces machine sewing classes for two.  Its like having private sewing lessons!  

Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Sewing Classes will be on offer.  Check this space or call the store for more details.

In addition to machine sewing classes we will continue to offer our popular hand sewing and craft classes.  Classes are limited to 2-3 people. If you're interested please call the store to reserve your spot.  Please note we arrange our classes to suit your schedule!

We will be adding to our class schedule regularly so please check this space for updates!

Registered students will receive a supply list in advance of each class.

BEGINNER'S SEWING:  REVERSIBLE TOTE BAG & POCKET WALLET $200

In this intro to machine sewing class you will learn basic machine skills like winding bobbins and threading the machine.  You will also learn basic pattern techniques like how to mark pin cut and baste your fabric.

Now that your comfortable sewing with needle and thread... Patch! will guide you through the technique of creating set-in and over-hand patches on plain and printed fabrics.

This class will introduce you to the world of fabric postcards! Learn how to make these wonderful mini art works that can be mailed to your family and friends.
